  • The area outside the ConSept is the aeration zone. Air supplied from the air blower, causes agitation in this zone helping to break up the solids in the raw sewage.

  • The area within the ConSept is the settlement zone. This quiet area allows fine solids to settle before the final treated effluent is drawn off to be discharged.
